Why?

not unhappy

I am on my third turbo not for any other reason than the inherant need for more power, I ve got two other turbos on the shelf and nothing wrong with either one. If you dont want to get the infection dont buy a first one cause it wont be your last. Turbo or nothing!

but of course

I think we all realize that there are other machines without turbos, I have owned and riddin my fare share, this topic however is about turbo sleds, and if in fact people sell them because they are unhappy with them. I think alot of reasons are behind anyones decision to go boosted or not, I personally think its the way to go, others may disagree. I ride 4 stroke Yamaha sleds with turbo kits and find them just as reliable as any non turbo I have owned in the past. Some people have had bad experiences with the 2 stroke turbos, which I have never owned.
Regardless of what it is you prefer, I figure as long as your out there in the snow its all good!!

now back to it.

So Inked, what type of kit are you running and on what sled. I ride an 03 RX1 with a 2871 turbo, originally a CPR kit which has been changed a bit along the way. I think the build part of this whole turbo thing has alot to do with why its so addicting, my sled has just about everything done that can be. I have alot of time and of course money into it and that makes it hard to move on to something different but I think this summer a new build will be underway, most likely an apex.

skidoo

i have a 06 1000rt it is almost finished i plan on making it to fairview on the 4th im waiting on my air box to show up and then it will be done the kit is from north west turbo it is just a test if everything goes well we will rebuild the kit for manufacturing anyway i feel your pain on the money part i have no business owning a turbo sled financially but its a must have

tuebo all the way........ 09 m8 boondocker will never have a sled with out.. and its nice to here im not the only one that never has enough... and yes im thinking more for next year. may mean new turbo..:D
