I paid to use this site because it's way cheaper than the DEALER when you have problems and it seems alot of peeps enjoy helping each other out on here. How else would we know when theres events happening, Form rides etc. and most important where the SNOW is? P.S. Paid members have less ads on the page.

So why r u still a registered user no one makes you come here. No one makes you read the threads. no one make you respond. Im glad you got to use the free services of snowest.So why knock it now? Seems pretty nice around here as a premium member. They killed alot of the advertisements. It does cost money to run the servers and keep up dating them so that all of us can be here at the same time bsing. I dont understand the hang up about 10$ to upgrade its the cost of a couple beers to be able to hang on here with friends that share a common interest. The principle is wrong. Are you telling me you'd be down to pay 50$ a year to read and bs with friends? I mean common its only 14cents a day whats the difference? its only the amount it would cost for enough beer for a good time or a fine steak dinner for you and the Mrs.

I love this site and will continue to pay for it. Sure I liked it when it was free but knew that would be short lived. This is very cheap entertainment and a very valuable site for snowmobile information and a quick fix. Cost is less than a couple hours of riding.

i am a basic member and i find that i can read all i need to...it all begins to repeat after 10 posts anyway and i can read minimum 50 posts...so there is no benefit at all to pay when the free offerings are far more then needed to satisfy the needs...and as far as contributing...well i have it on good authority(me) that i am the best person on this whole forum...so don;t pay as it actually has zero net returns overall realistically..enjoy the site ..

if it cost me 50 bucks then id pay or go away not continue to Bi7ch about it.
are you kidding me what the hell is fifty bucks even when you figure what we all spend in a year on this sport. you can come here and get info on what gear to get that has already been tested by some of the folks on here.That alone would save you enough to pay to use the site.

As an I.T. Person that deals with sites very much like this very site. There are a lot of cost...

Say $1000+ a month for the high speed Internet connection alone.
A new server every 2-3 years at a minimum of say 6-10 K
Then the administrative cost on top of all that.

Yes it was nice when it was free, but I understand the pay to play. Thanks to the advertising we are only paying a fraction of the true cost...

And you pay 3.00$ a gallon to play in the snow, so what is 10$ a year...

Head on over to BCR. Last time I clicked on that site, the main page had opened and in the chatbox there was 3 larger than life pictures of some guys naked ballsack. I closed the page and to tell the truth, don't even want to click back on to resign my membership.
So if thats your kind of thing you always have that option.
If your a Doo guy you have dootalk but I think they charge for membership, and there's alot of chatter about how skidoo is the best and really should be the only mfg that builds snowmobiles.
You have snow and mud and I think they charge for a membership but you can sign in as a basic member, they have a much smaller userbase.
If your a flatlander, I think you would enjoy hardcoresledders as that forum is pretty good size and usefull for the eastern half of the sport.

Once you figure it out your always welcome here on Snowest, basic member or premium member their is no bias. I think there is a 50 or 75 reply restriction for basic members, but by that time the thread has usually gone to jibberish so it really doesn't matter.
