Why would anybody use this site?

I don't have a problem with them wanting to charge a fee. Up until this month I have only come here maybe a dozen times since 07-08. Before than this site was better. Way back in early 2000s this site was great. Still tons of great knowledge now but a lot of bs to go with it. The fee really isn't the issue with this site
 
i sell parts all over the world(literally ) from this website and I hardly lift a finger Id say thats worth 10 bucks. Oh and then there the mountains of otherwise unavailable tech contained on this site.

I dont really like it but if I had a product I could sell that easy I wouldn't give it a way either. see ho far 10 bucks getts you at the stealer. At least youll learn something here!
 
I have to agree with this guy, I belong to many forums relating to my various hobbies. This is the ONLY forum you have to pay that I use. Seems par the course for sledding, but definatly makes me wonder? Like how much money does Snowest.com recieve in advertising dollars just from this site? Enough to compensate the dollars for running the server? They are lucky to be the "microsoft" of the sledding sites, they got me by the balls. Still not opening my pocket's though.....
 
I thought it used to be 50 threads before a basic member couldn't read them anymore. Is it 75 now? I'm not gonna keep replying to this stupid thread if it is 75. If you can't get your point across in 75 threads you should just give it up. Just my basic member opinion..

I don't pay right now, but if I feel this site is worth it when the job market gets back up and I actually have a reliable source of income, I certainly wouldn't mind coming up with some scratch$$$ to get some added benefits from here:face-icon-small-hap

Sorry, I had TOTALLY forgotten that dissenting opinions were no longer allowed. I just feel so stupid for wasting my time helping people HERE when I could have just left & gone somewhere else just because I disagree.

One thing that makes for a constructive society is the ability for adults to disagree without storming off & disengaging due to that difference of opinion. THAT is why our political system is screwed, because nobody understands how to disagree without being disagreeable anymore.

I disagree with the facts of what the OP says, but don't completely disagree with the general idea of what he's saying.
I see just plenty in posts... 99% of the threads that go beyond 75 are flame jobs after a certain point anyhow, it's rare I feel like I'm "missing" something.

The day I feel that I can't do what I want on here for free, I'll stop helping people here.

Oh, and ad blockers work wonders on all sorts of sites online... this site was what got me to try one... and I'm SOOOO glad I did!!

Agreed, good point. Bunch of little babies this country has turned into. Too much "If you don't believe what I believe, then I don't like you anymore.."

nope...being disagreeable means your in an emotional state..to disagree is an intellectual state...it is easy to disagree when you agree but you do disagree only because you are disagreeable and do not want the other to have the knowledge of you agreeing...
 
so in short...disageeable is from the heart...disagree is from the brain...disagree with me and i will have to agree that possibly you are disagreeable or you lack possibly the catalyst that initiates the intellectual link to disagree


oh...and i don;t give a crap what any dictionary says...it was written by man...and it can be changed by man...and i am a such creature...
