Why red loc-tite on helix bolts?

Seriously, blue is plenty and green would probably get the job done. Instead I’m breaking torx sockets and unable to change my spring thanks to the knucklehead I had swap it for me.

Literally 2 minutes with map gas on the bolt, wacks with a 2lbs mini sledge and they still won’t break free.

Literally a drop of blue is enough, we’re not bolting a damn railway together.

Rant over.

Yep...I have melted rollers getting those off. Smaller the flame the better. I have drilled the head off before as well and then you have a stud to get vise grips on. Blue is just fine...also stops corrosion and freezing of the bolt next time. I've also swapped hex head for those on AC secondary...just make sure you have clearance.
