Why does a Pro smoke so bad at start up?

Had 3 Ski Doos and one Pro in the trailer last year. The Pro smokes badly why it is warming up. Had to get it out of the trailer quick or it was like the trailer was on fire. The Doos could sit and idle and NO smoke at all. Any one know why? Also, the Pro used a tiny amount of oil. One gallon in 500 miles. I bought 3 gallons with the sled, used one all year.

matt..when the poo is parked...I think it collects more oil in the bottom of the crankcase, and more then likely the crank throws are picking this oil up when first started and pushing it up into the combustion area..and until the motor gets warm..you get lots of smoke.. yeah..you need to turn the oiler up some..1 qt per 10 gallons of gas is what I shoot for, as well as a pint in every fuel tank on fill up...

Thanks. Their is another thread talking about whether turning the set screw really adds oil all the way up the rev range and not just at idle. Thoughts?
