Why are you not riding right now?

Fuel costs too much!
I spend about $400 per month just to go to and from work and sometimes I just can't afford another $100 on the weekend to fill the truck and sleds.

I'll bet yesterday was awesome on the "509" side of the hill with all the freshies and sunshine too!

Oh well...maybe I can find the egg with the $$$ in it and go riding!

Just got back from ridding the Bighorns yesterday,. Foot of fresh snow on the head of Baby---n creek with out a track in sight. Awsome!!! I only live a few miles away so we can usually go every weekend. Hopefully we still have a month left.

Had to stay home one day this winter just to appreciate my wife, and remember what she looks like..ha! Still good. Might sneak out tomorrow between turkey dinner and desert cuz there’s more fresh pow today. I must be addicted???

I'm sore from yesterday's 185mile trek, got stuck several times, including my partner. No pic's this time, gotta take my camera next time.

I skipped last weekend because the crankshaft broke in my Escape. Yesterday I got out my old 1993 XLT and rode it 55 miles, 10 inches of fresh on hard packed. It now has over 7000 miles on it. I did snow check a 09 D8 163 Friday.

1. Two little girls at home I miss too much to go on too many rides.
2. Cash flow tightening with wife on mat leave.
3. Mountains are 3 to 4.5 hrs away, snow melting and trip cost is a factor.

Other than that the sled is performing well & ready to go!

3 reasons, take your pick of whichever sounds the best.

1. Niece's were at the house over the weekend.

2. Chaincase leaks oil like nobody's business

3. I'm sick as a dog.

Met up with Scott et al. in Idaho and rode the past two days. Just got back with some great memories of good times. Yesterday's ride was definitely in the top 10!

Living in an RV until new house is finished. Needed to dump, fix the skylight in bathroom, go to the laundromat, and finish up stuff for Easter. So, you could label all that as CHORES!! :(

There's enough stress just building a house let alone living in your RV. Hope things go smooth for ya!

Oh ya, my boss says I can't ride cause it's easter. Family time.

See My Friggen Location. It sucks here. But on a good note I'm going up for some Demo rides next weekend.

Global warming

Can't ride no snow from all the global... er....uh... warming  (watever Gore). March 23 still snowing in town!!!, rode yesterday sunny and untracked powder man that was nice, probably best snow of the season just enough new on top of a good base to make u work at it no freebies. I hope theres more global warming or el'nino or whatever next year:D, I'm sure this year I'll be able to ride in the morning and mow the yard in the afternoon.

It's at least a days drive for me to get to the mountains. And I'm broke.
That and it's spring around here and I doubt Bob's is going to give me any more time off. 580 miles on the new sled. Not a bad year.

It was almost 70* this weekend, and the 200" of snow in the mountains is as hard as a rock.
2 trips North this year, and the fuel bill was $800 each trip.
I could take a quick drive 400 miles North into ID. But I've got a trip planned to Mexico in 4 weeks, and also need to pay the landscaper so my front yard isn't the worst on the block this year.
Enough reasons???

Not sure why I'm not riding now... The sun is out, why am I at work?
Had honey doo's to do sunday including a wedding... Hung out with the family sunday.
If the weather holds up I will be riding this week, and hopefully the weekend also.
