north american free trade agreement....it reduced and or eliminated border restrictions on alot of product between the participating countries..some stuff was protected...ex..the auto industry in Canada...the first agreement was betweem Mulroney (canada) and Clinton..then Mexico came aboard and then Latin America...etc etc..
