Who's Who....

My husband and I race in the RMSHA hillclimb circuit. Last year was our first year of racing and I am beyond addicted. It is such a blast and we have met tons of super nice folks.

My bf and I go to the hillclimbs every year, mostly to watch our buddy Keith Curtis kick some A$$.:D Good to see more chicks getting into it. :beer;

For the past 4 summers, I have camphosted up the North Fork at an area that sits right on the river. The middle of the river is the border with Glacier National Park. It is a very busy place with having a boat launch as well (I deal with thousands of people over the course of my stay). It's along the North Fork of the Flathead River, so it's the Wild and Scenic River System. Great floating, and some of the best fly fishing anywhere. :D There is no power, no internet, water is a hand pump, and I get limited cell service since I bought an external antenna system to hook up to my phone (it still only works in a few areas). :face-icon-small-sho It is absolutely gorgeous up there though, and a different kind of pace in life. I'm getting to make a difference in the place for many years to come. The Forest Service and Fish, Wildlife & Parks actually work with me on many things, and that relationship that has been built comes into play on other things besides the campground and river.

The North Fork of the Flathead is absolutely amazing. My grandparents have property up there and the area never ceases to amaze me. Sounds like an awesome job.

Hello from the far east....i.e. flatlands.

My name is Lynne and I am from michigan. 40 years young and have been on a sled since the early 90's. I lurk but have not posted much. Michigan is a great place for snow and we are also close to ontario which is more rugged and has great off-trail potential. Its not the mountains but we all can't be so lucky as to live in the west:p! I have also ridden in MT, WY and ID.

My hubby just sold my MTX nitro so I am in the market for a new sled. The snopro 153 is winning right now.

My day job is nurse practitioner and it pays the bills plus supports the hobby. My spare time when there is no snow is spent on my motorcycles. YZ250 supermoto, ZX6R ninja road bike and ZX6R track bike (my latest addiction). I also love to fish, hike and just be outdoors.

Its nice to see a ladies only section. My motorcycle boards have them and it is a great place to get infomation that pertains to us.

My husband and I have the xmas holidays off this year and are looking for a trip so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I will also try to check out the ladies ride site that you are all talking about......might need a road trip!

we're planning to be in Togwotee during our Christmas break - if you're available, would love to hook up with you and your hubby! :)

That would be awesome! Just let me know the dates you're gonna be up there... We can usually sneak away for a few days, we both work shift work so our schedules can be pretty random but maybe it will work out! :)

Thats awesome...Keith is such an incredible rider. I wish I could be half as good as him lol!! It really is a great sport, though I must say sometimes I do wish I could be out free riding when I'm at a race. Its just so different from any other type of snowmobiling I have ever done. The first race we went to I almost had an anxiety attack because we were racing over huge rocks and I thought for sure I was going to ruin our sled. Not to mention hitting a few trees..... If anyone is interested, you really should try it, I bet there are more than a few chicks on here who would kick *** at it!

Hi i'm Steph. I am 19 and a freshman at CU. My dad is Beergut and we usually ride the Flat tops or the Snowies. I have an '06 600 ski-doo and love it. If any of you check out fouled plug i am the one who started the roommates thread. I cant wait till winter, see y'all out there!!!:beer;:beer;

Hi ladies! My name is Danyelle and I live in Bozeman, MT. I am 24 and I am graduate student at Montana State University, working on my PhD. I have a boyfriend, a puppy (Morgan, my chesapeake bay retriever), and a cat (he's my grumpy old man). I have only been sledding for the last two years, and not much at that. I think I rode all of three days two winters ago, and four days this winter. But, I bought my own sled at the end of last season, so I should be out a whole bunch more this year!

I got into snowmobiling through my boyfriend (BigHoe) and love it so far! I have a 2006 Arctic Cat M7. SnoWest is pretty new to me too, but I hear about it all the time. I am pretty excited to see a ladies' forum so I can get to know all of you, and hopefully make it to a ladies' ride sometime in the next couple years. I figure I have to get into snowmobiling, or my boyfriend will leave me for some beautiful snowmobiler who goes fast and climbs tall mountains ;) But I really do enjoy it so far!

Been sledding I think for the last ten years or so on and off have not been the for the past couple of years so I'm a little rusty. Now my son is old enough to ride and he enjoys the cold, I will try to get out as much as I can, not sure how much that will be with my baby so young. We'll see.

I enjoy a number of different thing such as camping, fishing, boating, fourwheeling at the dunes, I ride a Yamaha Banshee. I also enjoy the girly things like, scrapbooking, card makeing, Beading, and QUILTING is my newest passion, love Fabric and my favorite color is PINK. Tried to get my husband to paint my c5 z06 corvette pink for breast cancer awarness, he did not go for it(YET). I also Enjoy drag racing at RMR!! I feel the need for speed!! Looking forward to seeing more of this site! And meeting more lady riders!

Hello, my name is Staci, I'm 28 and live in sw MN (Minnesnowless) with my amazing husband Cory and our dog Cosmo (toy fox terrier). I have been snowmobiling since I was about 7 but never had my own machine until 2000. Yes I'm a flatlander - hence the name - but I am hooked on the mountains. My first trip out west was in 2001 and I live ever summer just looking forward to going back. Unfortunatly this year I most likely won't be on a sled at all as we are expecting our first child in early April. I guess I will just have to wait until next year... We just sold my sled, it was a 2001 mountain cat 1000, but I already know what my next sled will be! My husband has been riding since he could walk so he is also an experienced rider. I keep waiting for him to come home some day with a kitty cat! :eek::D

In the summers we spend most of our time riding our Harley & road trips with friends. My husband is a farmer so the spring & fall are usually spent in the fields & part of the summer too. Thankfully we have our winters! I work in Logistics at a well known ice cream company so I sit in front of this computer all day & check out all the snow conditions & riding pics on here & the ladies ride forum. I don't post much, just lurk. :D

Its great to read about some awesome ladies out there & I hope I get the chance to meet you all some day!

Hi to everyone. My name is Alex and I'm 16 years old. I'm also Cavemans oldest kid if any of you have ridden with the fun show. I have a M7 153 (sorry no pink LIME GREEN is better) I got it a couple of years ago and it has made it so I'm no longer sitting at the bottom of the hill waiting for the guys to come back down. Now i get to go get stuck with them. I first had a kitty cat and I got it stuck under the bumper of my dad's plow truck. Ever since I've been in love with the sport. I go to West Yellowstone at Christmas and spring break every year to really ride. Hope to meet some of you!

Hi everyone!
My name is Sam and I am Caveman's younger daughter, I just turned 15. Gator is my big sister. We live in WI. I got a kitty cat when I was three or four and have worked my way up to a M7 just like my big sissy, but mine is black. I like to dirtbike (225 ttr yamaha).My first roll was rolling down the hill behind our house when I was racing my sister when I was 4. I have been going to West Yellowstone every winter since I was in Kindergarten, and have been riding my own sled out there since I was ten. I have always been the youngest out of the group of teenagers that ride with us, always trying to keep up and beat the older kids or adults if possible.I can't wait for this season. I am really excited to talk to you experienced women and get advice.

Hey there. I think you're the first girl I've seen on here that lives near Denver. My husband and I ride a lot just 10 minutes from our house (we live in Dumont, CO). If you ever want to ride closer to home, let me know. I would love to ride with another girl on a regular basis. It's supposed to snow tonight!!!!--Abby

Hi ALL

I absolutely LOVE the powder. I am passionate about sledding. I am 43 years Young, have a 6 year old boy named Chone and my hubby Rito, live in Snohonmish WA.
I TOTALLY live for winter ... summer sucks! Love to have Fun and bustin through the deep stuff! I've ridden WA, Cook City, Mt and Brandywine Canada, Priest Lake Idaho. LOVE IT ALL!!! I share the title of Miss September!! I'm so excited that there are chicas out here loving the sport!!!! When I can't sled, I enjoy quadding, hiking, fishing, golfing and being with people I care about! Can't wait to ride and meet more chicas that love to ride!!!!

Hello: I'm Janet 48yo Grandmother of 6. I'm such a bad sledaholic I ride year round. My winter sled is an 09 skidoo hillclimb, My summer sled is an 98 Skidoo formula III triple 600 165hp asphalt drag sled. Building a 800cc triple asphalt sled for next summer. Have 4 granddaughters who also love to ride. Still too young to turn loose, but won't be long.

My husband wrenches for me for both winter and summer activities. This will be my first dedicated year to not be racing a hillclimb circut. Soooo, I guess I might explore many of the area's we've heard of. Might try attending the ladies ride this year.

My husband and I ride BMW dual sport bikes also in the off weekends of the summer. I'm what some would refer to as a newbie to the bikes. Gotta say that snowmobiling has been quite a bennifit to learning to ride a bike.

Lets face it If it has a motor and goes FAST I like it. I pretend to be 18 but the years of abuse have made me slow down. I will however Never give it up as long as I can straddle the seat.

My husband is Plumnuts I rarely get on the forum. He told me snowest just added the ladies forum.
