Went up today for a couple hours. Rode on zero dirt/rocks. Still lots of snow but all of our creek crossings are open so can get back to the "good snow".
Was still better then sitting on the couch :) Eric

looks good, still some decent riding in priest lake idaho have to drive 5 miles further up the mt to get to the snow line.

I hung up the hat about a month ago. I've been debating on trying it again with the recent snow we've had. I know you would have to ride dirt to get to the snow, but I think you could still ride at 7500+ feet. I've been preoccupied with studying for a big exam this friday for the last couple months though...stupid priorities

friday slaying some nasty lines on the snowbikes in NW MT.

Oh big time....one of the season's best rides this past weekend. Freshies, below freezing, 9 foot base.

RIDEABLE SNOW STILL IN ALASKA!

Still getting / riding fresh snow in Valdez, AK. A big storm headed in just in time for our local hill climb. Supposed to be dumping all three days of the competition. April 17,18,& 19.

****NOTE: Avy danger varies greatly from one area to another so check the forecast before venturing out and watch / check the area for conditions / signs / terrain traps and triggers.***** I've been working but those who have been riding have reported 5 plus feet of fresh in spots.****

TOO MUCH SNOW? We are finally getting ours.

Our local Valdez, Alaska / Thompson Pass hill climb took a weather day today. Snowing / flat light conditions.

We got thru about half of the runs yesterday before white out / flat light conditions stopped the racing for safety reasons.

We will try and finish the competition tomorrow, if the weather breaks, if not the entrants in the classes that did not get to run, will get their entry fees back.

After the storm passes there will be some awesome riding as long as you are conscientious of the avy conditions.

They cancelled the balance of the event due to avy danger and zero visibility.

I just drove down from the pass and there is / are blue skies headed that way! 19 mile is already blue bird as is Solomon and Hog Back, among others. Your timing should be perfect. As always be conscientious of the avy conditions and ride smart. Enjoy!
