who's an auto glass installer on here?

Any of you S.W.'s work in the auto glass field?

I am curious to see how many of you work the trade. I have been doing it for 11 years now. My wife and I own our own business.

So far it's done well. We are also a authorized dealer for Piaa, and Visoin X Offroad light systems.

Any of you up here in Alaska? Let's talk..

No I'm not a glass installer. I put a windshield in my daughter's car this summer, I'll never make that mistake again! It doesn't look hard when watching you guys, and I'm a decent mechanic, but it sucked! You earn your money.

It's getting worse. The newer vehicles are a pain. Airbags, sensors, and of course the know it all standing over your back..

I can weld, but in way am I a welder!!!

Whats it cost you Canadanians to get a windshield installed? without insurance? Does it compare to the U.S.?
