Whooping sound letting off throttle

Just got back from the first ride on my new to me axys 800 rmk. Is it normal for there to be a whooping sound when letting off the throttle? Say your cruising down the trail and let off I'm getting a whooping sound almost like a turbo fart? I dont remember it doing it in the morning but by the afternoon it was very noticeable. Ive watched a pile of videos of othr guys riding and havent noticed anything similar in videos unless they actually have a turbo. Does almost sound like its coming from the clutch side.

I don't think I've ever noticed that on mine. If it's coming from the clutch side maybe make sure the springs in clutches are unbroken. Could be doing something weird with backshift not keeping the belt in tension

I had something similar on my 800 Axys....the motor mounts became weak...when cold at the beginning of ride sled was fine...no noise, but after 30-60 minutes I got that sound when I let off the throttle... because the belt was WAY TOO loose during deceleration...Replaced the honeycomb style rubber mounts and DONE!

When you say honeycomb do you mean these guys? Happen to remember how much of a bear of a job it was?
