Who votes Frostbite for having the stupidest posts of the year?

Thread Rating
1.00 star(s)
A quote for the ages: "There are no dumb questions...only dumb people who ask them." (I have no idea how this applies). It's something my cousin always said. I think he was talking about me.

Ya never cut a guy down for asking stoopid questions. I still dont know fu@$%ck all and ask stoopid questions all the time. Its the posts and threads that have no meaning and are obvious lipping offers that are annoying. Check anything that pindunderdoo#3 has posted in the last 9000 posts!! Mostly agitating and useless not contributing keyboard jockey type stuff. Dumb Questions even make knowledgeable people think of newer answers sometimes.............

vote for frosty i think his question are good he was buying a brand new sled didnt know a thing about cats and was up in the air over cat and polaris. m8 vs m1000. and when he bought his m8 he needed to know what mods to do now and what could wait. those are not bad posts everyone asks those same things if not on here its on the hill, ur buddy, or the store get over it these questions are what we are here for. i would rather ride with someone like frosty then you true at least he isnt affaid of asking. your the kind of person that pi$$es me right the f*ck off.

That was a pretty bold thread to start and to just go crawl under a rock. He must of thought there was alot more Jackasses like him on here!

Funny thing about a truly STUPID question thread, it falls off the page really quick & you don't have to look at it long. All of frosty's posts (and there are plenty of them:eek:) seem to get lots of answers/discussion, which means he ain't the only one asking the question!

Boy, I'm sure glad I knew everything about sleds when I got into them so I didn't have to ask any questions!!

Thanks guys, I was a little worried I'd be run out of town on a rail when I saw this post title. I was glad to see there's support for my questions.

Maybe if I'd cut my teeth riding Arctic Cats my questions would seem rather dumb? However, there are plenty of us that seem to be migrating toward Cat this year from other brands and I bet a lot of us have similar questions.

On the Yamaha forums I was able to help out a tremendous amount of folks in setting up their RX-1s. It was quite a task to figure out how to make them work and most bailed and bought different sleds. There were however several of us that stuck around, tested and came up a winning combination of mods that really made the sled work well. I found I really like to be able to share what I have learned through my testing with others. In fact, I always carry a little notebook and write down details, things to fix, clutching, etc that allow me to be able to go back to it and remedy issues after a ride or in the off season. Today my new 09 M8 notebook takes it's maiden voyage. Hopefully, in the near future I might be able to share with you what I have learned.

Thanks for the great advice.

I AGREE! Frostbite does post the stupidest questions!

good one frostbit. asking questions is where it's at for a forum like this. and if you do happen to let loose with one that is, well, kinda dumb, then the best thing to do is make light of it.

if you can't laugh at yourself then don't laugh at others. there are way to many in this world that take little chit way to serious. And there are plenty that can dish it out but can't take it. We all know ppl like that.

after all, when we're all old and decrepit the memories of funny, spicy, stupid, and dumb chit is what could make being old and decrepit worthwhile. At least that's how I look at it.

I will have to admit that some of his threads got repetitive. But oh well! Don't read them if you don't like the topic. I have replied to many of his threads and I have skipped over alot of them too. Just my .02. :D

The worst part I just spent time learning alot about about Arctic Cats from frostbites questions. Trying to understand this thread And I ride a Skidoo.

A little over a year ago I had been out of the sledding game for years prior. Bought a 07 m1000 and started learning some the hard way and a lot by just searching and reading threads. I think frostbite will be a valuable asset in the future and I'll help all I can.

Now who on this forum feels like the biggest DumbAzz

thing is when u ask a Question do a search first. people never do it and we end up ignoring the question or making fun of it. ive be on here for 5 years or so, (the old forum too) and same thing keep popping up. but if it wasent for the newbees we would have no posts except nudie pics to get deleted all summer long.
