No I don't use a stand- only in motocross
When cold/frozen or anytime before I start riding I lift the back end and drop busting loose frozen moving parts, I then lift each ski off the ground breaking it free of ice (I have seen many smoked belts due to not braking the skis loose)- then warm my engine up.

Thats how I do it to.

The reason I ask is we are a welding and fab shop. We built one for a customer and just wondering if you guys would be interested! We will start making them soon. Probably not many for this season, but next season. The price will be about 150.00 but it will be all aluminum with a thick backer (mainly for sleds with studs)
Here are our stands for oval and drag racers. Our mountain sled one will be a little different, but this is some of our work if you need anything welded or fabbed!

Niceeeeeeeeeeeee welds, what kind of Tig machine you useing

I got mine from dirt cheap made by American mfg. I had to weld a hook because my tunnel is too short, it fits great on the 144. it lifts both sleds plenty high
