Yep !! We check the track tension and alignment every morning. We also chip all of the ice out from under the tunnel. Just like to keep the ice off of all the moving parts and don't want ice grinding on the track. I just spent to many years racing and trying to keep things for breaking down. I guess I would always like to spend more time riding than wrenching >>>>.

So back to the ? do you know of a company that makes a good one for are mountain sleds?

Stand we use is made by Cambridge Metals & Plastics. Dennis Kirk has it for 114.95. In the book as a snowmobile Lever Lift Stand. This goes high enough to lift my M/8 153 >>>>.

Don't use one for warm up before riding but do use one in the garage for tuning. aligning, etc. Have to jury rig now though as I don't have one that will get my M 162" off the ground far enough to keep the track off the ground. Anyone know for sure how high I need to get the bumper off the ground and does anyone make one that reaches that high?

The reason I ask is we are a welding and fab shop. We built one for a customer and just wondering if you guys would be interested! We will start making them soon. Probably not many for this season, but next season. The price will be about 150.00 but it will be all aluminum with a thick backer (mainly for sleds with studs)
Here are our stands for oval and drag racers. Our mountain sled one will be a little different, but this is some of our work if you need anything welded or fabbed!

PM me for details!

My uncle welded one up for me. I like to use it. Helps get some of the ice and snow build up out before the ride as well.

Height adjustment will be a must if they aren't all "custom". I use an adjustable PowerMad, but it's really wobbly at my 159's height. Good Luck!!

No I don't use a stand- only in motocross
When cold/frozen or anytime before I start riding I lift the back end and drop busting loose frozen moving parts, I then lift each ski off the ground breaking it free of ice (I have seen many smoked belts due to not braking the skis loose)- then warm my engine up.

Used to use a stand and I still have one that will work but it's just not important to me that much really. In the fall when taking it out of the shed but not much after that.
