who makes the best after Market running boards?

Just want to get some advice about what after market running boards to get. The stock ones seem to hold on to too much snow and it seems like I am constantly kicking the snow build up off of them. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Kens

you're probably right wy boy.

wish I had taken pic of kens, aluminum tube that he had plastic coated by outfit in seattle, had plastic golf shoe spikes for grip, made a set for his 012 and wifes 009, retired guy with good shop skills, you out there ken, show us.

I like the BM fab boards. Thay are very similar to airframe boards but crossbars are x'd so your foot don't get hooked in there

Best inexpensive fix is the madsigntist inserts. The BEST commercially available boards are the Rasmussen style airframes. The are a little narrower, have a step over bar, are powder coated and REALLY HARD TO GET!. Finally got mine, only $50 more than the standards. The step over bar makes them even stiffer than standard airframes. It is designed to make it easier to get your feet back to the neutral position, especially for the shorter guys with the HUGE stock seat. It also gives your outside foot a place to go when your wrong foot is all the way up on the board sidehilling.

Someone makes some boards like air frames that are narrower but they narrowed the back to much and its stupid how skinny they are, don't get those or your risking loosing your foot in the track.

Diamond s

I put diamond s zero snow boards on my 1100 love em the only problem I have experienced so far is they let you're foot go too far forward in the boot hole and therefore you're foot can become trapped. Scary . I am building a plate in there to keep that from happening. Other than that the boards are sick. Get the tube ones though not the v channel

B&M fab boards are awesome not one complaint about them plus awesome customer service and readily available unlike the other company's

This is not a b1tch, its purely constructive criticism, and like always "my Opinion only"
If you like sticking your feet in your track get these, or falling off and racking your shins or wrecking your sled.

B&M you f'd it on these, and they are way!!! to narrow in the back. I would never recommend them or run them, please, for safety reasons get them a little wider in the back. All you need is about 1/2" narrower than stock at the back.

Actually if you used a tape measure you would find that they are the exact same width in the back as the factory...just sayin since I actually build these. Pictures are worth a thousand words my friend.

sorry wyo this is "my opinion only" but pull your head out of your a$$ before you type. If you have ever had experience riding with these boards you would realize that you don't ever fall in the track or wreck your sled. I do know this because they were on my sled all year sorry but pictures are really worth thousand words mr. skinny proclimb

Your right!
I'll shut up because I can't measure them right now, but someone builds some that are a joke, so beware.

Sorry about that, was up for 39hrs when I posted that so who knows what I was thinking then, definitely my bad there. Thanks for corrected me and getting the right info out.
