Who makes a good mod Nytro motor for big boost?

Looking at starting a bulkhead up project over the summer. I want a engine built to handle big boost (O ringed head/cyl, turbo porthing, cams and springs) . Who builds such an annimal that works ? I have seen a few Lakeside Apex's work well as well as some hurricane RX1's but not Nytro's. I have 6 months to put this together so I want to do it right and take my time. It's going to be a mountain sled so it can't have cooling issues like I have seen in some hurricane sleds. The machine will be seeing 20 - 25 psi via MCX 19 t so I'm thinking 10:1 compression (suggestions?). Thanks

LL

The fella I would call is Chuck at Lakeside Motorcycle Service. He Is the guy to go to for big boost motors for mountain riding, he has been tweaking the nytro for a couple years now. I can tell you that some of his little tricks really do work!
His number is 403-746-3119

Agreed, He is who I consult for engine technical builds. He's very good at it and runs a honest business..

I have run Chucks engines for over 4 years and they rip. Not sure what you would do with over 20 lbs boost though. I run my Nytro at 16 lbs and on a climb it will completely shift out the clutches. I am running 83 gr Daltons and could easily run more weight if I thought I needed more boost. I run 93 gr in my Apex at 16 lbs.

another vote for chuck with his motor work & neils fuel system i cant see how you could ride it at 20lbs.my vector was tame at 20lbs compared to the nytro at 16lbs:D

Another vote for Chuck's motors, make more power with less boost. Most days I only run between 13-15#'s boost and it friggin rips. With much less boost, I'm pulling 7 grams more weight than with last years motor and need to add more. :D

We should have our fully CNC ported, plus one valved Nytro head here in another week. IMO it will be one of the best flowing heads out there. With CNC it will always be a perfect port job, cost should also be competitive to the others out there. Also working with Paul @ Impulse with some different cams and gas ported CP pistons designed for boost. We ran 25-26 psi last year, should really fly now!

Not sure what side of the border you are on. But if below the 49th, you could also call onestop performance out of Michiagn. There nytro's have been hauling the mail out east. Not sure the number, but seem to have there stuff together. Just another place for you to look, never dealt with them.
