Who leads , and who doesn't get too, and WHY?

I don’t lead much because I don’t like the responsibility. I have a natural tendency to find **** holes and I usually have the best sled and I am usually the best rider so if I have problems going some where, its no fun for anyone else. I like to be towards the end. I can see other peoples tracks and judge the terrain better. Its also easier to get the best lines and best jumps that way.

Also I can help some one get unstuck and get them caught back up to the group.

Alot of the time I find myself leading myself

Lately I'm having this problem myself, everyone else wants to go 5 miles, stop and bs, go another 5 miles stop and bs some more. Between leaving the house and getting home we are gone for 4-5 hours and when I check my trip meter we went something like 30 miles. Now I end up riding by myself cause I can't handle the no riding part.
