Who has ordered injectors in the past?

I ordered an injector set for an 08 700, originally the parts fiche at the dealer, the pure polaris site and babbitts all said 1 required. They were backordered at the dealer and finally show up as 1 injector instead of 4 like they used to be. Now instead of a whole harness with 4 injectors you get 1 injector kit with cheesy crimp connectors all for more money than the original 4 injector set with the harness. Up here full retail the injectors are $257 each, over a grand to replace all 4. For reference, the 2011 injector kit has both injectors and the harness for 149, and I looked the injectors are different.

So who ordered them as a kit and got all 4 and have maybe a picture of them in the parts bag so I can tell polaris that quadrupling the price and giving cheesy crimp connectors is not okay.

Why are you replacing your injectors? Rather than replacing your injectors why don't you drop them off to be flow tested to ensure that your injectors are failing. Most diesel shops can do this or send them away to have the tests done.

every time we've ordered them, they came as a single injector kit as you described--back to early winter 2009 as far as I remember-never had the option to buy a full set of injectors??

Replacing because they got banged up by chunks of piston.
Why would the 11 have both injectors instead of just one, 2 plus harness for 149, vs one for 257

POLARIS does not build their own injectors, they're buying them by the box-car load manufactured by under-age sweat-shop labor in some 3rd World Country, and as a result that's why there's such an in-consistency if flow rates, 3 different color injectors, 3 different color maps, what a cluster-f**k

If you log onto www.greenhulk.net a Jet-Ski website, the SEA-DOO forum, and has Riva and others aftermarket companies that offer injectors both stock replacement (38 pounds per hour and 42 lb and larger for modded motors) injectors for SEA-DOO's for sale for approx $50 each.

That being said I would try to contact them and see if they offer replacements for the Dragons.

I know that BOSCH makes a lot of injectors, and there are others out there as well. Might take some searching, but it'll save some $$$$ in the long run...........and you'll probably end up finding a better quality unit

I figured $250 was about right for 4. 149 for 2 for the 2011 seemed ok as well. I think it's time to stop giving polaris my money.

I remember getting sets of 4 for 06 900s under waranty when I worked at the dealership, not sure what changed!

And the word on the street is that POLARIS has decided to use BOSCH fuel injectors for 2012.

That should tell you something POLARIS won't readily admit; the current injectors (used in the 2006-2011 C.F.I.'s) are poor quality and are a direct cause of a lot of drive-ability issues and resulting engine failures.

And look, it took only 5 years or so to address the issue................................................................................................

I went searching for injector service and found this guy:
Witchhunter Performance Injector Service

By coincidence, his shop is pretty close to me, so I went and met with him...check out his website...he does a complete injector service for $20ea...He has some pretty big customers based on the orders I saw on his desk.

the new 11 injectors are a lot cheaper, i have no explanation for that, however all certified polaris parts fiche's should look like this
7 2203575-053 Kit, Injector, Yellow [Includes 1 Injector per kit] 4 USAGE
7 2203575-015 Kit, Injector, Red [Includes 1 Injector per kit] 4 USAGE
7 2203575-027 Kit, Injector, Blue [Includes 1 Injector per kit] 4
all clearly stating that the kit includes 1 injector and that you need 4 totoal
