I picked up an xd9 from the base exchange on black Friday since it was on sale for 10 percent off. Add in no sales tax and it was a pretty fair deal. I've got all my bases covered from home defense to big game, and some fun plinking as well.

Look at the Glock 22 as well. I have the 22C which is the compensated model. The 22 is a little larger than the 23. Fit's my hand well. I had intentions to buy a H&K that I heard good things about. I shot both guns and my patterns were much better with the Glock. Love the simplicity of the Glock.

Haven't bought anything since this summer. Can tell you though that both Federal and Winchester are seriously behind in manufacturing and are saying it will be March/April before they are going to have certain rounds back in. The little store were I work has been cleaned out for a while now on the common stuff.

I've had an expensive month, but in no way feel bad about it.

SA XDs, ruger sr22 rifle, ruger sr22 pistol, and ordered an FN 5.7 and a Lewis AR.

Looks like we'll get a little more time for buying, and hopefully items become readily available again. Want three more AR builds
