Who enjoys spring riding?

I just like riding. I would rather have be riding deep powder but you cant always get what you want so i just ride on whatever type of snow there is. I rather have powder so my landing is softer :D

I prefer powder, but nothing like hero spring snow, point and shoot and usually get where you want.

Of course I'm still hoping for another 60 days of winter at 11.000+ feet and then some spring riding.Last day of last season was May30th with Mule at Vail Pass Colorado and it was not too bad:)
It's way too early to think about the stand up Jet ski:eek::eek:

I prefer powder, but spring riding is just plain awesome!
Spring is the time when I can take the stalker up the big chutes where on a pow day only the BB or boosted sleds go.
Takes a lot of skill to manuver up hill in the spring, and usually the rush is X2 on the way down:eek:
Most of my riding partners quit riding early, Thats where 1mex comes in:beer;
He will ride with me anytime I ask... Thanks bud!
Last year we had a great ride on fathers day... Even did a skip and climb... This year I will get video of it.
Spring is also the time when I explore the areas that I don't dare go into in the deep pow... Have found a lot of nice spots that I otherwise would have never found.

Pow is a lot more forgiving IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love the ability to go find new places in spring, the warmer weather and longer days but I'm not too fond of the 80 mph, out of control decents that spring has to offer.

That's why I save my burned belts - ski brakes

Still winter here in AK but late april we don't even leave town till 4 and come off the mountain at 11 when the sun goes down and burn 15 gallons. I rode in May last year in the midnight sun. AK is the ultimate.

Spring

So there is snow. And a snowmobile. That runs. You are able to ride. And you have gas? Spring + More sun = Fun. What more proof do you need than life is good! Add a beer after the ride = Heaven!

If you have friends and/or family to ride with - consider yourself very fortunate and savor the experience. This is the top of the food chain and there is nothing better!

I could take it or leave it when it comes to spring riding. It's nice explore a bit but I start thinking of riding in the mud with 4 wheels comes spring.

Do they have road construction jobs up there?? Would move there in a heartbeat if we could ink out a living. Sounds like you have some of the best riding conditions:wine: Dino

spring riding

I agree that any riding is better then no riding or work anyday. What sucks about spring riding though is there is little or no challenge compared to the powder and it kinda signals the beginning of the end for the season.:(
