I just picked up a Taurus Judge. Its the stainless model. It's already my baby. Although at 20 yards, you can't hit sh!t, the minuscule barrel combined with the lack of any sort of choke tube make it rather ineffective at anything beyond about 15 yards with the .410 shells. With the LC bullets, its a bit better, but again, beyond 20 yards or so, its a crap-shoot. Fun as hell on full pop cans at about 5 yards though, that's for sure.
picked up a springfield xd 45... It's in good company 
i have that same gun i alternate the .410 and 45 long colts lol but like you said gets pretty bad around 20 yards. But its a great home defense gun
its also fun to shoot the small clay pigieons with it lol
At first I was looking real hard at getting the xd 40 then heard a couple guys ragging on them, so I started looking at other guns till I was in a gun shop looking at other guns, when the guy next to me asked if I had looked at the xd. I said I had and had heard a couple bad things about them.
As it turns out he was a retired state trooper and that's what he carried. After he invited me over to shoot it, that's the gun I'm getting next week.

Unfortunately I lost all my weapons in a poker game, or was it a boating accident. Something like that. The guy across the street just picked up a 92F in like new condition. We are supposed to go shooting soon.

He will be taking it to school with him next spring.<--------------yes you read that correctly. We have one of the few schools in the nation that has a on school grounds trap range. And its a fight every year to keep it.
That's awesome, not sure if our school still has a trap team or not. We did in school and we were still allowed to pack pocket knives. It sucks how a lot of people can't grasp the idea of gun saftey.

I too have recently rid my house of all the weapons I had....
I got rid of the three AK47's, the AR-15, the many Mint quality military surplus weaponry, The M1 Garrand, the Russian stuff and all the varmint 22 rifles too.
Then I got rid of the XD-9 (for the wife) and the XD-45, My personal favorite.
I even had to get rid of the PPK, my carry weapon.
Now I'm unarmed and no-longer a threat to BHO's assault on my country.

Went to the Missoula Gun and Antique show at the Adams Center Saturday morning. Nice show with lots of good vendors.
Would have, should have, could have pulled the trigger on a Colt stainless 380and Taurus PT 111 9 MM. Colt 380 is a real nice conceal gun but not much bigger than the Ruger LCP....almost too tiny.
Wouuld love to find a nice PT 111 in the Stainless Millennium Pro model.....real nice gun. Would have given me a nice little arsenal of pistols to go along with the two Kimber 45's and the Colt Compact. The other gun I would love to get ahold of is the Ruger 357 SP 101 Stainless with 4 inch barrel.
Gun prices real high these days thanks to our friends in DC. Apparantly I didnt win the raffle for the AR 15....too bad because if I won I would be at the range Thursday morning.
