who do you use for sled insurance?

I was with State Farm for the last 12 years, rates keep creeping up every year. My 08' Xp 800 154" last year was $408/$250 deduct.
Got a flyer in the mail from an Allstate agent here in town, gave them a call. Allstate $298/$250 deduct. or $205/$500 deduct. for my 09' XP 800 154"X
State Farm was almost $200 more, mentioned this to my agent and asked why? he had no real explaination, he then said to go with Allstate. So that's what I did, now also having Allstate see if they can get me better rates on my home & autos

I have desmet farm mutual here in south dakota. I have 3 vehicles 2 sleds the house and a boat on it and its about 130 a month. The sleds are about 12 bucks a month with 250 deductable. I only keep insurance on them for 6 months put it on about nov and take it off in april. Totaled out my 98 stock rmk I paid 1900 for it rode it for a year and a half and they paid me 1950 for it when I totaled it. The wife has totaled 2 cars do to deer hits over the last 5 years and I have hit two deer and it still stays the same per month. I have had real good luck with them.
Mutual of "Take A Chance"! Never wrecked one in 40 years. Figure I've saved at least the cost of a new sled by not buying insurance. Insurance is rediculously expensive in B.C.
State Farm. Nice thing about them is they'll cover a rental sled too at no cost as long as you let them know before you ride it.

I cable the trailer backed to the fence, leave the truck hooked up to it, disable the ignition in the truck. also have yard dogs and a 200' long driveway.
Insurance is way too expensive!

PITA..do your homework or they'll try to take you to the shed
, I am considering farmers, claims for this company is a very pleasant experience to say the least
State Farm for me too. It's hard to find insurance companies to insure at over 600cc's. $293/yr at 100K liability
I do statefarm, 100/300, 50 meds,on a 250 deduct..D-8 is 285 a yr, sons 600 ho is 245 a yr and the daughters trail rmk is 188 a yr....never had a problem claims wise..
