I have a deck and I want a light extendable ramp as long as possible. Who makes one? or am I going to have to make it myself.

Thanks !

all depends on what you want. a GOOD quality aluminum ramp that work flawless in all weather conditions that holds up to lots of use isgonna cost ya a grand.
I'm sure you can build one for less, thats always the case. If you decide to build your own look at as many as you can and look at the design problems. many of them that come on the cheap decks work like crap. Truckboss decks use extruded, interlocking side rails with built in UHMW that is locked into place . It will also support 2,000 lbs when fully extended. Eric

Looks like I'll build one . I don't ride a yammi so I don't need one that will hold 2000#s

The truck boss ramp is hands down the best ramp out there. Spendy. But the best. Its nice to know its going to work flawless every time regardless of conditions.

We have now gotten to use just about every deck ramp on the market, and we too were going to suggest Full Lotus. Sounds like it is a bit more than your looking for, but feel free to shoot us some questions if you are at all interested in the calc's and build specs. The ramps are a work of art that will last you not just one season but multiple seasons down the road and keep it's resale as well.

What deck are you trying to hook this ramp to? A homemade job? That will sometimes influence which ramp to look at as well, since some of the attachment hooks are proprietary to the deck that builds them.
