Apex, Nytro or Phazer? How does it work? Any good before/after stories?

So nobody? I was going to install the BD Fan assembly behind mine without the shroud (not enough room between it and the oil tank), but if most are getting along without it maybe I'll scrap the idea. Would be interesting to install it along with an intake temp sensor to see what kind of effect it has on the charge air temps.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, to try and keep the chance of detonation down. with the fan you might actually have some air flow across the intercooler, currently I doubt any air is going across my intercooler.

Tom Hartman's son (I can't remember his name, but his Snowest name is Hammer) had a electric fan set up on his MPI supercharger. You might try getting in touch with him - or doing some searches on this site and/or totallyamaha. I haven't seen him online in a long time, so I don't know if he still has that sled or not.

I am running two fans on mine. I noticed a big improvement on air temp on long pulls. I rarely get above 120. Most of the time I run about 80 to 90. I am using the fans that came off the cooler by the foot well. I don't remember having to raise the intercooler to get them to fit.

Allen you could use two on top wired to push with that mesh hood. Also if you wanted a 3" side dump I'd weld ya up one and send it out. The exhaust and a ported waste gate on that 2860 would be real nice. ;)

Thought of that but was told that if you run these fans backwards they don't last as long? And don't worry about the 3" dump pipe, it's already in the works buddy!:D Might as well port the wastegate while I'm in there too, time to crank it up and break something...
