If you could survive the ride up the trail without burning anything up, here's what you got to play with at the climbs.....

First time running it all the way to the top on the 900.... haven't been to the top in 2 seasons.

we play here often, but I've never seen any tracks around this tree... decided to give it a run:D

Gotta make due with what little snow we have, it's not great, but it's better than sitting at home:face-icon-small-win

Man, you have better snow then St helens, went up there yesterday and it looked like last june. We even had sections of asphalt to ride out on.

I hope we get more snow or this season going to be over soon.

Ya, it is shaping up to be pretty disappointing. We went up on top of the ridge after we left the climbs and it was total concrete... and I do mean CONCRETE! In a few places you could stomp your foot and not break through:eek: On top of there, there were trees and rocks sticking out in places I didn't know there were trees and rocks... and I've been riding Pinegrass for the last 4 seasons:face-icon-small-sho:rant:

Everywhere but the climbs was a total cr@p-shoot... we had to stop 4 times in the first 5 miles cause there wasn't enough snow to stay safely cool.... packed snow on the boards and that helped for about 2 miles at a time:face-icon-small-dis Somewhere on the way back down I even managed to break a scratcher:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-fro

Glad you guys enjoyed the videos.... sure hard to believe that this snow can be considered 'good riding' :(

Where did you guys unload? We're heading up this weekend.......just can't bear the thought of saying we didn't ride at all in January :( Trying to figure out how far up 1000 we gotta get to be in snow.

Not expecting much, but.........going crazy sitting at home!!

We unloaded in the Cold Creek/Pinegrass snow park on ice/gravel and there was about 6" of coverage on the trail... no bare spots, but hard as a rock. Can't say about any of the other snow parks as we go around the Clear Lake end of the Tieton Road to get to the snow park.

I've only heard of 3" of new snow according to the Ski Report... it may be quite hard this weekend:(

Well I'm not used to unloading at a snow park anyway.......:( Thanks for the post, we've been hesitant to go up with the conditions as bad as they've been...we've got a security cam at the cabin and I check it every day, NO snow!
Let's keep our fingers crossed we get something soon!

Thanks Seth, at least I got to see some snow!!

Hey Wish, I hear ya, it's killin' me to see those sleds sitting in the garage....
Took the trail bikes out at the ranch last weekend, 50* for crying out loud! But FUN !! Sad part was all those creeks we were playin' in were supposed to be snow!

Heading to McCall in a couple weeks..... need a fix. Hope ya'll have fun at the cab anyway, I swear a day up there is a day added to the end of your life!

Hi to Jeeper.

Man how I wish it was New Years Day again... that was the last great snow day we had......

1000 Road

:face-icon-small-sadNot good!
We road on Saturday and it was solid ice in the lot, the road was rock hard. Scratchers would hardly touch it. The weather was sunny and warm but it wouldn't soften the snow much. BARE SPOTS in the road as well. We hit one on the way up but there was a lot of black showing through on the way back. We had to stop constantly to cool down on the way up. Took almost 2 hours to get to the top (Spencer Pt).
Needless to say we will not be riding this weekend, not until we get fresh.

I have noticed an influx of peeps from Arizona fleeing to Washington in search of better weather.

Thanks Seth, at least I got to see some snow!!

No doubt Bagger ...any bad day at the cabin beats a good day in the TC!

We're socked in fog down here so at least we'll get to see sunshine even if there's no snow.....
I think it's time we start looking elsewhere for snow too, uggh!

You guys have fun in McCall! Let us know all about it when you get home! :D

And Hi to your little lady from us too!

94Fordguy..........Ahhh that video is killing me! We had guests and couldn't go ride that day, sure kicking ourselves now!! :face-icon-small-con
