White beads in SLP silencer?

Just got my SLP pipe and can and noticed that there are some white beads rattling around inside my can. I can shake them out about 4 at a time, but they are tiny and it sounds like there are a few in there. Anybody have any idea what these are? I also noticed a little rust on the inside and wondering if this was normal. Maybe it has been sitting around a while?

The owner of the mod shop I bought my SLP pipe from said that all SLP pipes, mine and your included, have some of that in them. He said it blows out when you run the sled and not to worry about it. Not sure what it is though.

the beads come from the polishing process. the parts go into a spinning drum full of these after they are coated for a polished look. think they would pay a guy to shake them out before the consumer sees it.

Right on, I guess as long as they are harmless I am going to finish the install. Then I am going to Cooke the ride the bejeezes bells out of it. Can't wait.

Exactly what he said. You should see them before the polishing process. It really looks like a white ceramic. Really cool process, but I'm surprised there are any left rolling around in there.
