Whistler 2012-13

The wife is going skiing on Thursday at Whistler. I am going sledding on Saturday Sunday. Probably head up Brohm Ridge one day and head over the Hurley the other. Man I am PUMPED

went up the Hurley today. Long drive from Squamish, but worth it. Parked at 19km. The snow is starting to build. Was snowing when we left.

Rode Sproat today. Plenty of snow. Unloaded about 2 miles up the road from the usual parking lot. The lake at the cabin is pretty soft lots of overflow. I would not stop on it. Snow was at least 6 feet deep if not more in most spots. Sun came out around 1pm and we tracked up as much of it as we could :)
No rocks hit today but that does not mean there not there.

So glad the season is off to a good start

Sorry but this may seem like a stupid question. Is Sproat the same area as Brandywine? If not then where is the access?

Sorry but i am new to the sport Is brandywine rideable yet?

I'm planning on joining a club. I just went up to the coq for the first time to check it out. I want to hit Brohm and Brandywine before I decide

Any updates would be appreciated. Heading up for the weekend with friends and want to know the conditions and parking.

Rode Sproat this weekend, snow is building and the season is off to a great start. Happy shredding, the season has begun. See ya on the hill :)

I would hope that if they are charging the 20.00 per day fee to ride their 7 miles of trail that it would be groomed. Too bad callahan isnt open anymore

Going to be in whistler for my yearly week long trip Jan 13th -20th and bringing my new sled along. Looking for some people to ride with this week, message me if you want to ride or don't mind me tagging along.

If you're looking for a report, go check out Norona's photos in the powder forum... :)

My huskys were breaking trail over their heads on our walk in the valley yesterday, it's cold and sunny, I expect lots of big trucks and '13's from the city this weekend!
