which sled gets towed out the most

Didnt have a rope, and that was the best we could think of. Actually worked really good and that same belt is what I have ran on my sled all this year as well! lol

Snowmobilers are the most resourceful people on earth. Give us some duct tape, and zip ties and we can make anything work.

This year I have towed out a 07 M8, 01 Mountain Cat 800 and a 08 XP.

...probably the '72 Boa Ski that my neighbor had, way back when:beer;

3 dragons so far. but to be fair, we towed the same one 2 different times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

They all break. To be completely honest, they are all overpriced junk. Every single one of them. But they sure are fun

I don't have any pictures of it being towed but I'll say mine gets towed the most so far this year. 1st time can plugged blew apart pipe and melted oil resovoir, next tripped had clutch issues had to be pulled again, then the top end let go and had to get yanked out again. This was all on an 03 Summit 800 151 that had a SHR 150hp kit put into it. Also had to yank out buddies 03 summit 800 with an RKT 827 kit into. My sled has been good since I've put a stock crate motor back into. If you like being on a rope mod out your stock summit 800 and enjoy the pull out.

Agree 100%

I agree 100% with you!!! Although, my Puss is getting tired of towing out T-Yammys !! Done that 3 times this year!!

I towed out my old 02 summit 800 151 due to stator failure.Unfortunatly i sold it to a buddy and this happened second ride out so I will pay for half:(It was a long tow probably 35kms and the other 3 riders in the group did not offer to help tow[A holes]I had to tow with my new D800 and I don't trust the new tunnels for towing.Made it out okay bit it got hot befor I put down the scratchers

uhh lets see here...... ive been towed out three times in two years..

02 summit = ran out of gas?. 02 summit = plug coil. 01 mountain cat = Fuel Pump.

Ive seen more skidoos get towed out more than anything else simple because, there is more of them.

In last three years my group has pulled out:

Viper, Burned down (twice)
Cat 600, burned down
Cat 600, primary clutch bolt broke
cat 800, burned down
mountain max, hit a rock
mountain max, stearing post broke
1m cat 900, primary clutch bolt broke (no lock washer) came loose.
M8, kept dying, ended up being short in wiring harness

I think that's it.

No matter what brand you ride, if you ride a lot they will all be on the end of a rope one time or another.

I have been pulled once this year when my Doo 800 crank with 250 miles did this: and I helped pull a buddies Doo 440/800 out when 15 minutes into the ride it flipped over (if you have ridden a 440/800 you know what I mean) and snapped the steering column, brake line, and throttle lever. Fun coming down a mountain with no brakes or steering with out power.

lets see i have towed out a 03 polaris 7, a 03 polaris 6, and a 07 ski dont xrs (that should say it all) 5 times in one year and we are not done yet. they really hate when i tow them with a little 1992 polaris 440 fan cooled short track. and a polaris mod hit a gate. are cats have not let us down yet.

07 skummit 800 seized crank, does that suprise anybody? broke my bumper pulling him out of the steep and deep. he bought me a sweet bdx bumper to replace the stock one.
