wat front end kit is best for a 06 summit. ive been looking at the holz kit but also considering the timbersled kit. just wondering if anyone here has any good info on these or can recommends any others.

I have 2 07 Summits with zbros front ends on them. They have over 5000 miles on them combined and seem to work well. They seem to be quite strong as I have only bent a lower a arm one time and they have been abused often.About a 15 mph hit on a 16" tree did it but I was able to ride it out and rode it the next day.Ordered a new one and had it by the next weekend. Good people to work with.

Just finished putting on a holz kit last nite. Took it on my first ride today. Went on easy, arms are MUCH lighter then stock. It rides much different then stock although it could be the powder pros. or the one thing I found was odd is the shock/spring angle gets less steep which lowers the front end a bit seems like it has less travel, but with that said I am happy with the swap got me up and going and the kit cost just a few bucks more then the stock lower a-arm replacement as they are clearing out there rev stuff. Still not 100% sure how I feel until I get it into the powder.

If it were me I'd go with the Timbersled setup because of the improved turning radius which is a problem on Summits compared to other sleds like Cat's M series.

Have FUN!

I looked at the timbersled, but the price tag was to much for me, it was 850$ vs 330$ (just 50$ more then a stock replacement lower a-arm) Granted my goal was just to get the sled up and going asap, any improvements over stock was a bonus.
