Which Can for 2012 Polaris Pro?

I just wish we could get some back pressure tests on these cans to find out how they will affect the total system.

I have a Super Q and those guys sent me tons of documentation supporting the numbers. They don't lose any pressure from stock. They also ran tons of tests through an entire season and tore the motor apart after 2,000 miles. I was very impressed with everything they sent me.

I would be very interested in this. Shat are the weight savings and sound like? Stock back pressure or real close to it would be puuuurfect ad it won't lose power.

I'll see if I can find the e-mail. I know the weight savings are on their web site. It is fairly loud but not horrible. Any of the old tripples with cans were louder.

The e-mail came from one of the owners I think. It was very impressive, I read it once and bought right away. They showed me how the tested etc. It was sent to my work e-mail so I can't remember if I forwarded it home or not.

All I did was e-mail their general e-mail and ask if they did dyno runs to prove they weren't losing hp and got an awesome response as to why they did not use the dyno because they wanted real numbers out in the field. So I'm sure if anyone e-mailed in and asked the same they would get a similar response.

HPS

I would recommend HPS. You might as well have Scott throw in a Power Addiction head if you don't already have one. You won't regret it.

Bit the bullet and purchased the HPS from Scott at HPS ($350 – certainly not the cheapest can out there). I loved the deep throaty sound from the clips on you tube!

I asked him specifically about back pressure numbers and such and he told me that information is proprietary and cannot be released, but he stated that customers were seeing a 100-150 kick in rpm’s, and as such, he assured me his cans are not losing hp!

He talked to me like a real person and that was awesome from a customer satisfaction standpoint!

Anyway, I can’t wait to get it on and see what it sounds like in the garage…

I'm interested in hearing how you like your HPS. I've been thinking of getting one, but not willing to put up the $ for a little weigh savings and sound, but if it gives it a little more throttle snap on the bottom its worth it.

mbrp

My mbrp added about 150rpms over stock.....everyone told me a can wouldn't make a difference.......I.afraid to tell ya it.really opened mine up and couldn't be happier with the fit and sound as well as rpm gain. Just bought another for my 12

thanks, was in at Precision yesterday and they basically talked me out of one saying all it did was save weight and change sound, no performance change and anyone mfg that said theirs did was just blowing smoke. I've always had a precision can on my sleds, so was disappointed. HPS is only about 3 miles from my house so that was the next choice. I'll look at the mbrp I've heard good about their cans, just never had one or rode with anyone that has.

Hps can

I would like to put one of the HPS Cans on my 2011 Switchback Assault 800..is anyone else running one on thier SA ??? Also does HPS have a Web site ... How about part number for the can for the Switchback

bmp can

Ran one all last year on my pro. Sounds awesome, and it is loud.Girlfriend has Hps on hers and it is quieter, but still sounds good

Bmp

I have been looking at the BMP also, price is definitely right
My bmp powder lite can is super loud . Almost like a straight pipe kinda sound . But with a very nice tone/pitch . It didnt fit the greatest , i had to get someone to help pull my pipe over to my can more so i could get the springs in place , but overall very pleased with bikemans work .
