Which aftermarket ski?

The stock skis clearly are not going to cut it. I am down to the following three options.

1. SLP Powder Pros
2. Simmons Gen 3
3. Sly Dog

Which and why?

Thanks.

i know this is not on your list of options, but i installed the MODS SKIS on my M and absolutly loved them. great performance in the powder and the trailer, definatly a point and go ski. Very durable also, only time i ever saw a ski tip touch a spindle and still be in great shape, there is a little tweak but never seemed to bother anything. "if it aint broke dont fix it"

8" slydog works for me. But really a couple of 2x4's would be better than the stock skis.

I can only offer insight on the Simmons Gen 3's

I bought a pair last year (Previously had a pair of Gen 1's on my 99' Summit)

What I really like about these skis is the dual runner aspect. There is no darting on the trails and they are really solid skis. The downside of these skis is that they are heavy. Probably the most heavy option out there.

Great ski, and like others have said, anything will work better than those stock skis

I'm running the 8" sly dogs and wouldnt change a thing whether it be on the trail or in the powder. Night and day difference compared to stock garbage.

Always ran SLP pp but, going on my 800 pro climb and trying the 8" sly dogs, for the extra width on the M1100. Good luck lots of opinions out there.
