i just looked at the forecast and there looks like there might be a storm commin in next weekend around the vail pass area that would be cool to get out and ride some more!

I'm up in GL for Thanksgiving Break. Not enough snow up here to do anything with, and the gates to access the GL trail system have been closed; drove up to check it out yesterday. I work for Trailblazer in Fraser, and we're shooting for an opening day of next Friday. We'll see how that works out. As soon as we can get a little base to groom, we'll send the snow cat down Crooked Creek Road into Church Park and try to get tours opened. I hear there's a storm coming in Wednesday, so lets cross our fingers.

Don't get too discouraged yet, though. Last year the snow came way late and we had an epic year, so there's hope! Until then, keep doing that snow dance

Shoot, this is the time of year I START my mod projects. Good outlet for all that frustration waiting for the big snow. Still need to service the DD drive, Build my new hood and whack the running boards behind the risers. Just got the fancy new Digatron mounted last night, the re-programmed BD box is set, and the new top-end is sputtering away. Still waiting on a speed-werx power advantage can too. That should help for those deeeeep days to come! Of course I could be ready to ride in a couple hours though Need a couple of mellow road rides to break in the rings anyway. I likeee when my view stays like this though...

Went by vail pass today and pulled into the lot that's all i have to say, and the gate to shrine pass was closed.

I watched the rest of the remnance of snow diminish at 9k here today. This is bogus! Looks like we have a chance on Thanksgiving.....I'm not holding my breath.....
