I got an 05 switchy 600 144 with 2" track. Ice scratchers came yesterday just curious where all you guys put yours! Got an idea where I want them but not sure if there's a better spot.

That is a tough rail to get scratchers mounted on. I gave up and made my own to go on the ski instead. I think you need to remove the front outer bogey to make room and I didn't want to sacrifice the roller effect.

That is where I'm at right now, really don't want to remove as I do a good amount of trail riding!

This might help, I used a skid and track out of an 02 edge rmk on my mod, it was a 144" 2" aswell. I'm not positive if there is alot of difference with yourse. But here is a picture of where I had mine mounted. I used RSI Scratchers. I had taken off the wheels in this picture., but I don't think they interfered with the scratchers when they were on. But this was the only location i could get the scratchers in.

good luck!

Oh you might have to zoom in to see it, this was the best pic i had of that angle.

I got the same RSI scratchers didn't realize how far they bent down when hooked up on the rails. I was worried about the torque arm bottoming out and crushing the scratchers but looks like a non issue thanks!

installed them last night in that same spot can't wait to test them out this weekend in the U.P.!

Good luck man! they should help ALOT on the trail! I always had mine down riding on the trails up there, worked great for me! Hopefully you are better and remembering to put them up when you go off trail than i was:face-icon-small-ton

Just as bad as you, launched off a nice jump with them down and they are now bent but I'm sure will bend back easy. I rode 30 miles of trail with them down, flipped them up not even 2 miles later the sled overheated. WOW what a difference.

Edge scratcher mounting instructions

Just remove the front outside wheel and use the top hole from your wheel mount for your scratcher. drill small hole for spring end, mount scratcher and take your wheel mount with wheel on it and put just ahead of the scratcher for clearance. Mark it, drill new holes for wheel mount, reinstall wheel and you are done.

RSI Scratchers use a very large head on their mount. Better to use another brand so you don't have to move the front wheel any farther forward than you have to or your front scissor will not clear when fully collapsed. a little rub doesn't seem to bother.

Been abusing the crap out of my scratchers so far but they're still working LOL backed up in reverse once and jumped the sled multiple times with them down. Bent them back with my hands 4 times already, good to go! Now only if it was that easy to replace the torn lugs...
