where to trade m8 for xp

I am looking to trade my 08 m8 for a new xp 154. If you know of any dealers that would trade a cat for a doo please let me know.

are you ready to take a big financial hit, anywhere should take it as a trade but how much are you willing to loose, this would also be true if you were trading a doo at a cat dealership, sell it if you have time and then buy a new sled

There's 5 or 6 guys that hang out in the Skidoo forum that just hate the XP, and anything to do with them. Too bad none of them own one, or maybe they would trade ya straight across. I'd try and sell it outright, and just pick a holdover up. You should be able to get a pretty good deal on one even if you have to take a loss on the Cat. Maybe even snocheck a 09, and that would give you all summer and into next fall to sell the AC. Doo gave everybod 6 months no payment no interest this year. I'm sure they'll do something like that again.

I agree with the arctic cat guys that cats are more reliable and are a good all around sleds and I have heard and seen first hand that ski-doos may not be as reliable as cats, but anymore I buy a new sled every 2 years and the sled is under warranty the whole time I own it so I am looking for performance and from what I have seen doos have the edge over everyone else. I am a cat guy and loved my m7 and my m8 does well against the old doos but the xps are tough to beat. I might get killed on trade in value but I have never known sleddin to be cheap.

you never know, you might end up climbing into some silly place and hitting a small rock with your track and getting bucked off your sled, loosing it off the cliff youre trying to high mark around. doing stupid stuff with insurance is the best way to get a new sled. be sure to have a video camera cause you will have several successful super sick climbs that will look super cool on film. seen this happen to several honest guys. its a ton of fun to not care what happens to your sled. you can pull some sickness.

That is a excellent idea!! I go riding with my insurance guy all the time, maybe he will film it for me.

where are you located?

your best bet on trading would be to find a dealer that carries both Cat and Doo, there are quite a few around
you will still take a hit trading in an 08 though
