Where to ride Telluride area

I have a trip scheduled to Telluride at the end of the month. If we don't get any snow I will be cancelling. But, don't know that area. Anyone have any suggestions?

Best to bring a dirtbike or ATV - just in case. (this year)

Thanks, any directions for non trail riding, I like to play on the steep and deep. Altough this year it might be meadows and inches.
