Where to ride late April Cascades?

Hey folks,
I'm going to be back to Fort Lewis WA next week, from a 6 month deployment. I've been chomping at the bit watching the snow reports online all season. Now I hope to get a couple of rides in before the snow is all gone.

Any advice of where in the central Cascades I can still find good snow?

It has been to warm to have good snow but there is still plenty of snow. U may not be able to unload at the snow parks but if u are allowed to drive up the road to unload snow is still there.

all the usual places are still a go if you are willing to unload higher up..
plenty of spring time snow to ride at 4-4500k and above.

2 days until home

Thanks for the help.

I've tentatively chosen Blewett Pass for my first ride of the season, mostly because I've yet to try it, but also because it's 4,000ft. I'll be checking it out Sunday with my family.

Blewett gets far less snow than areas just west...Salmon laSac areas, Stampede, Kachess are all good for awhile, just some bare spots down low, still 10-12 ft on the probe at 4500ft.

Drag you're rides up Reecer Creek to the snow line and unload, you won't be disappointed. Ridden that in June many times, don't listen to the it's over crowd, but go on a sunny day!:face-icon-small-coo
