where to ride in SLC area

Im thinking of heading down to SLC friday to ride. where should i go? Bountiful? Guardsman? where?

Soapstone at the south entrance of Mirror lake road or the north end out of Wyoming?
Just know is is butt cold out today and needs to warm up.
What do I know.

How is monte?

Don't know have not been up there since before christmas. There is a thread that some say it was good and some say it's not.
I think there is better snow/coverage down south.
Someone should chime in on Guardsman or check out the Daniels summit thread below.

I was in Guardsmans Saturday and snake creek yesterday. Both were pretty mediocre, snake creek was marginally better.

Monte is all windblown and tracked up, you can still see alot of sagebrush at the parking lot. This last storm there was only like 6 inches of snow dumped up there. If you can find some areas in some trees that no one has been yet this year it is really good we found a few spots. I would recomend somewhere by daniels summit/heber area. I was up there on friday the 11th
