Going to ride Friday to get a few more miles and play with the fuel controller a little more. Where is the best place to ride right now?? I was thinking of riding Wolf Creek Pass back toward Tower.

yep no snow up there guardsman is the only spot and not much there hopefully things will look better after this next cycle

There is plenty of snow there for a road ride and a little off road as well.
Just keep the sled pinned and the skis in the air at all times and you wont have to worrie about a thing.

wish i could go with you guys, work has been slow so i think i am going to stay out here for a while and get some money saved up for when the riding gets good!
I am planning on Mill Hollow, be there around 9:00 to 9:30. Will have the '09 M1000 (black and green) with a Twisted (Pump Gas) Turbo for anyone that wants to see how it runs.

areas near tower are good enough to ride, but plenty of rocks and ice will scare the ever loving hell out of you......we had to drive up a good mile past the lower parking lot

So where would the best riding be for Sat morning? Gaurdsman maybe? My ridin buddy got sick so im down to meet up with anybody that may be riding tomorrow...i hate riding alone.
We put in at the Mill Hollow trun off, pretty much open road to there. Mill Hoolow road was ok, road over to Tower, played a little down east of Tower. Snowed lightly all day. Not time to ride, but good first ride type snow to log some miles and make sure everything is ready.

Sorry I missed you. I could not get out of work until noon. We rode out of Lake Creek canyon to tower. There were places that were bare and places where the wind had pushed 3 ft so we had more fun than we expected. I would not go up with low visability because there were a lot of landmines. We know the area well and were able to ride off the trail pretty much for 3 hours mostly on the ridge close to Currant Creek peak
