Well for the last 4 years me and my dad have been taking a trip the week of my b-day (March 16th) the plan this year was to go to the black hills and ride but the snow is pretty much gone from what I have herd.

Don't know what to do. Where ever we go my dad would have to rent a sled. We were planning on bringing my little brother for his first snowmobile trip but then it would be mostly trails for him and my dad because all he has is a 580ZR.

Last year we went to the big horns and stayed at bear Lodge. Have not herd how the snow is there but i'm sure bad??? I wouldn't mind heading to West Yellowstone if they got snow by myself but then I have no one to ride with:frown:

I guess my biggest question is, is there anywhere about 6-10hrs from Bismarck ND that has any snow to ride. Need help don't want to stay home for my B-Day!

Just had some of my friends come back from there and they said they need snow BAD!! Plus My dad and brother don't do much mountain riding they would have to be on trails more.

Last year when we went to the horns my dad stayed on trails and me and my buddy would hop off and go play then meet up with him later. Looking for a place I can do that again. Don't think i'm going to have much luck.

Bighorns

Snow is in the forecast late this week into next in the Horns. Your little bro would like it up there also and Bear is fun to party at.

Dude, you are turning 21, get wasted and ride a stripper:cheer2:

LOL, to be honest have never really enjoyed getting drunk, while my friends where out drinking I Was to busy working to buy a sled and a pickup when I was younger and just don't care to drink much.

i dunnow how far from bismarck but the snowies got a good trail system with offtrail opportunities. Takes me about 12 hours to get there from fargo.

Thanks for the responds everyone. Think i'm going to see if the hills gets snow this weekend. If not maybe talk dad into going to the snowies. I have gone to west a few times now but dad doesn't want to go there for some reason.

Well if the hills have had weather like over here in Gillette, there won't be much left if any. The snowies or horn's might be your best choice, the horn's might be getting some here this week. You are riding Monday? We are thinking about going up on Tuesday and Wednesday next week (pending snow.)
