Where to Go in Sicamous ?

Hey Guys.
The Wife and I are planning on taking a trip to Sicamous for the first time next month. Any reccomendations of areas where we should go to ride and a good hotel?
We're not into the steep and deep but more meadows and trails.

Blue Lake, Queest and Owlshead you will find what you are looking for. Eagle Valley Lodge is two kilometers east of Sicamous. It is a beautiful lodge just for sledders. Hope this helps.

ya blue lake for shure for you guys. phone # for the lodge is 250 836 2860. and ask for Manuella or Rene. manuella take the reservation book quick cause its a book place its around 90$ for a room. theres a dry room , pool table, 2 giant screen, jacuzzy, fire place(propane) and you can bring youre food to cook it breakfast and diner. people there are very nice. and if you want ,just ask the rider that will be at the lodge if you guys can fallow, im shure they will say yes. there a cabin in almost every place to ride. to warm you up . Rene rents sleds too. ho ya there a shop if you want to work on youre sled. have a safe and good trip, never know might be there. im there alot. just ask for renegade2 ore marc the frenchy

What dates? You are welcome to hook up with us if we are out at the same time. Several couples looking for same type of riding. We have a place there at the base of Owlshead and are out on a regular basis. Another good place besides Eagle Valley is Sundog bed and breakfast.

Heading to Eagle Valley on the 30th for the first time. We are taking some ladies, but big enough group that some of us guys want to possibly strike away from the group to get the turbos spooled up. Is there some good climbing in any of the areas, and how is the snow coming along. Heard it was skinny still. Any other things handy to bring to stay at Eagle?

That would be awesome to hook up with someone who knows the area. We haven't set a for sure date yet but we're pretty sure it'll be right at the end of January. Probably mid-week. I have holidays then for 12 days. How about if I PM you when I know the dates for sure?

I can vouch for the food, ate breaky there once last season and it was some of the best restaurant bacon I've had. Moose Mulligans is also good for more of a pub atmosphere at dinnertime.
