where to get good gas?

all this talk about e fuels and oxyengated and all the rest what does a guy need or what to run? its starting to look like that it has become a concern.

My riding buddy and I have both been running the 10% Ethanol Premium 91 oct. (usually from Costco) in our 900s for the last couple years with no problems. Ethanol in a 2-stroke is certainly not the greatest thing for them, but my understanding is the the fuel maps for the 900s are generous enough that they can handle it safely. Honestly I would be more concerned with getting 'fresh' gas (ie: a busy station) than I am about running 10% ethanol. Just make sure you have a fresh fuel filter at the beginning of the season and ride it like it's insured!

My personal opinion.:beer;

I only put Shell V-power, or Esso premium in my 2 strokes (if I can help it) But Seth is right about choosing gas stations who move alot of fuel so it's fresh every time

Good to know on the 10%, that is what they have in phoenix and I was worried about putting it in with a new top end. I MT the gas is 5% and they sell non-oxygenated fuel for snowmobiles. The manual says it is ok to use oxygenated fuel but not how high an ethanol content. I can tell you it does run hotter when I run oxygenated fuel in it.

I mixed in a couple gallons of this today for testing here at 1400 ft with the high altitude SLP head.
