Where to get Carbide tracks for truck ramp?

I have a truck ramp like this to get my sled on my truck... http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200318227_200318227

I believe mine is either 6 or 7ft. Right now I use an old carpet and lay it on the ramp so the carbides dont get caught on the aluminum. Its getting old quick. I want to buy some carbide runners or tracks, whatever there called. But it looks like im gonna have to spend over 100$ just get enought footage of material to cover the ramp on both sides. Is there any other options im missing here?

I just want to get my sled up the aluminum ramp as cheaply as possible, and not have to bring carpet with me everytime I ride...

Maybe there is some kind of thick material I could put on each side of the ramp??

go to a junk yard and pick up and old bed liner and just cut the strips the width you want them. if ya look on craigslist you may even find one for free

Go to a rhino-liner or equivalent spray in bed liner company and they will usually give away the bed liners. I got 6 liners from one place. I use a circular saw to cut it, its really fast and easy.

Go stop by Van Works in Fort Collins. Over by Odells Brewery. They usually have some old bed liners they will give you for free. I picked up 2 of them to do my trailers.
