Where shall I order timbersled parts?

Who has all the parts on hand and same -day shipping? I was ordering direct from Timbersled when I broke things and recieving the part next day. My dealer is awesome but doesn't have that kind of schedule or inventory.

What is the good word for a Washington guy who puts a bunch of hours on his gear?

We are trying to stock a lot of the heavy use items. Timbersled is no longer selling direct, so it is important to have a dealer that stocks parts. Let me know the kind of parts that you are going through and I can let you know if we have them on hand. We would be 2 days away, which is not next day, but close.

I'm sure that some parts are needed more than others, but I would like to encourage (with my parts budget that is) someone to have everything on hand.

Since 2011 I've replaced or welded up everything but the front suspension arm, inner spacer on the jack shaft, secondary chain tensioner arm, brake caliper, bumper, and right side panel and some fasteners. My kit is about 15% original pieces in working order. My parts budget is $3500 per winter.

Thank you for all replies, even critical ones, and posts helpful for folks in other parts of the world.

Everything that rotates or slides can go pretty quickly, especially if a rider skips one or two post - ride inspections or rides a bit of gravel. My secondary chain and gears went from good by chain length to worn to near -failure in 5 hours- I think due to some loose aluminum shavings from elsewhere.

We try to stock a lot of High wear items but, we can't have them all, but if not in stock we order almost daily! We use email notifications when parts are received in our store automatically! We can ship parts same day Timbersled stuff usually takes 2-3 days to our door.
let me know what you need in a hurry and we can rush it easily enough!
thanks,
Remko

I've had great luck with Larry at Loom Lake Marina in Washington and I live in Utah! He knows his stuff and is close to the TS factory, but he had always had everything I needed in stock and ships it out quick. He's been doing it since the beginning and it's nice to not have to explain to some nonner at a parts country what I need.

It reminds me of Michelle (freeagent on slowest) at Oregon Trail Sports but for TS stuff if you are familiar with her.... but Larry swears a little less.

Penco Power Products in Kalispell always seems to have a lot of TS stuff on hand. They are the largest Timbersled dealer in the US so I'm sure that helps.

Some things have changed for this year. Polaris is pulling all the parts back to home base and from my understanding shipping from MN starting Monday. That will put us western dealers 3 to 5 days from getting parts instead of the 1 or 2 we are used to. It will be more important than ever this year to have a dealer that is stocking heavy on parts in order to keep you going.

Do these break that easy? It sounds like a money pit????????

Everything breaks. ATVs are solid for the most part, but we sell tons of repair parts. Dirt bikes, same way. Timbersled kits go through hi fax, bearings, nuts and bolts just like other mechanical devices.

That is why other companies have moved in. TS left the barn door open for nothing but improvement.

Uncle Si. Dump the TS and go with a different company. Stay with TS and pay a middle man and wait for parts.

With the cost of the TS and your yearly parts cost to keep it rideable. The upgrade to the better quality, engineering, and performance of the Yeti would be a no brainer. IMO

I put 80 hours on my 2016 Lt Timbersled. Only the plastic sprocket and drive chain didn't last.

Before that I put 4000 miles on a turbo Nytro with a mountain tamer skid and front end too. Reliability has never been a problem for me, and I beat the hell out of my stuff.

I pretty much quit wrenching when I ditched my 13 ts for a yeti. Maybe the new ts is better?

Thanks for all the replies. I am looking at other manufacturers, and a 16 TS. Yes, there is a lot of wear and breakage on my first-year timbersled. See many posts on this.

The TS uses home built Briggs and Stratton mini bike technology, it is no wonder it is a maintenance and reliability nightmare. You TS fanboys can call me an angry elf all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that the TS is an under built piece of crap.
