where does it go??

Ran the sled in the garage to adjust/align the track. After shutting down I found this piece lying on the ground below the belly pan. Looks like a plug of some sort. I can’t find where it goes. What is it and where does it go?

I’m not actually sure it goes to the sled, but cannot think of anything else in the garage it may go to.

That's a rubber bumper that the bottom side of your exhaust pipe sits on

What you found is #14. Make sure that spring #13 is there and in good shape. Odds are that the spring is worn out or gone beings the bumper fell out

I did have the pipe off to reseal the exhaust donut.

It will be evident where the spring attaches to the pipe when you feel around under there to reinstall the rubber.

There's a spot on the bulk head for the rubber and a square spot pressed into the heat shield of the pipe where it sits. The pipe has a welded on loop for the spring.
