Seems like people feel a need to vent, even you. Just different side of the fence.

This used to be a great place. Watched lots of people get mad and drop off over the years. But, this time a popular cord was struck somewhere. The shear volume of people leaving speaks volumes. I don't think a few mad people could do all this damage.

We'll see what happens. But, I'm not going to point fingers at one side or the other. It takes two to tango.

Groups of people behave differently then individuals. Not saying they did all this, just that it is interesting what happens in groups.

Nope, it didn't go too far. It went to a point, and they where booted. Maybe I have thicker skin though. It is the Internet, oh hurt me.

No one yelled FIRE and everyone ran. It was more like the fire sprinklers came on in one building, so everyone moved over to the other building.

Escalation is what PR people fight for a living.

As far as the "other" site goes, they do not want the negativity of what has happened here on their site. The admin there are doing a very good job of keeping that site positive and it is very welcoming. Amazing what good service will get ya. I only see that site growing and growing, it is pretty cool.

I am not here fighting for anything either. I think they don't like me though. I make a thread that says this site is a privelage and it gets deleted. I posted on another thread, Trying to explain the rules of fouled plug as I read them. And that post gets deleted and they give me an infraction. I bashed noone and used no profanity. I really beleive that they don't like me.

I agree with you about the site doing what it's going to do...no matter what we say. But if a company doesn't listen to it's clients, it's going down...hard. Particularly when the product is the client!!

I've been around since 2002 and seen the many changes this site has gone thru. Met lots of friends and really enjoyed the crowd that's been around here. At first the complainers seemed to be newer members with a few hundred posts...just trouble makers. But as it progressed I started seeing guys that have been around a long time and even folks that are no where near being agressive and chit talkers getting hassled and posts deleted.

At this point, it's more the admin than the chit starters bringing it down. And the longer it goes on the more members will move on....and then Ruffy and some other folks will be here all by them selves trading tech tips on how best to dig out of a hole.....
