where can i get a 16 wide track

the track on my 06 summit x is in tough shape. where can i find a replacement 144x16x2.25 or 2". i talked to tracksusa and bruce says they are discontinued. anyone know of a place to pick up a new one, or slightly used one.
thanks!

144 x 16 discontinued? :face-icon-small-con

Were you open to either 2.52 or 3" pitch? I would think the 3" would still be current models. ???

.

I ended up using M-series('08 and newer I believe) wheels since they are 8" ,they use the same bearings, they were free(friend switched his to a 2 wheel kit), and they are black.

Or you could change drivers to an 8 tooth and maybe look into a Camo extreme 2.5 (9144 track)? I would look into that if you want to stay with a shorter track but gain a little lug. If you go this route, DO NOT buy Whal Bros drivers. They are horrible and I wish I hadn't wasted my money on them. If the Doo ones are available where you are, get them otherwise buck up and buy Avids as they are the very good quality.

So you went from a 144 to a 146? What driver did you use? Is your track loose or does it fit? Thanks

I ended up going to a 151 with rail extensions actually. I switched from 10 tooth to 9 tooth drivers, with a 2 3/8'' track from a 2", and went with the M Series wheels when I made my 2 wheel kit. I think the stock wheels are in between 6" and 7"(I can measure tomorrow), so going to an 8" wheel should take up all of the slack needed to go from 144" to 146". The people at Tracks USA are very knowledgable and helpful if you can't get the anwsers you're looking for. Hope this helps you!

i hear a lot of people cry about whaul bro drivers haha. whats wrong with them? i have them and they work fine for me. If youve ever heard about the crazy mountain extreme sled, i live by guys who build them and good friends with them, and they use them and sold me the ones i have.

The timing is off on the set I have and cause a horrible vibration while I am riding. The design is poor compared to the Doo one's and the Avid are CNC'ed for precision. The Wahl Bros are cast and as soon as these break(like my friends did after 6 rides I will replace them with some Avids. Ever notice that CMX doesn't use the Wahl Bros drivers? Wonder why that is?

i had a bent skidoo driver. tried to buy one from my dealer and they said id have to buy a complete driveshaft assembly for $400. i think not. so i bought one wahl driver (no one told me to buy two). before pressing it on i tried all 6 positions and couldnt get it to line up with the doo driver.
so fyi, if your gonna buy one, buy a pair.
