If anyone sees a VENTED can... pick it up... the EPA has stopped (a while ago) any mfg of the vented cans ... to the best of my knowledge/info.
Call all the different Polaris dealers you can find to get these cans... once gone... no more..

Why not just go to any hardware store and grab this one?
It might not be as wide as the other one but it works just fine. I used to use this on my old sled.
Just seems like it might be a bit of a PIA to get the old Polaris one.
I think the ski doo tank is the best gas caddy out there....3 gals and nice hold down straps but it does come with a price.
CraiggerBuilt and Mountain Addiction also have nice setups and the CraiggerBuilt you can use there attachment system for a storage bag when you don't need to bring gas.
i got a nice can that i got from the case IH dealer a few months ago ill put up some pics tomorrow
I am not sure you can. I have been looking for quite some time. I heard they didn't meet specifications. Best can ever made.

The chances of finding a new Gott can are pretty slim. They not only stopped making them about 7 years ago but bought back inventory from retailers. Even replacement parts are pretty much exhausted. I was looking for some more of the 6 gallon variety (upright 2 handles) about 6 years ago & couldn't find any inventory then.
I have at least one maybe two & also one of the 1 1/2 gallon size & one 2 gal. all Gott. I'll need to check at my cabin. If anyone wants one I'll take $15 plus shipping 2 1/2 gal, 2 gal or 1 1/2 gal. The 2 gal doesn't have the wide base.
That said Polaris was selling a nice solid can (about 2 gal) but it doesn't have the wide base like the Gott, I have one of those too.
By the time I package & ship these it's an accomodation not a money thing so PM me if you want one & I'll go by time of your PM for priority-one per SWer. I'll be out of town til the 6th.

I have a Gott and always have liked it- I didn't realize they were so hard to come by. I was driving by a house for sale a week ago and they had a pile of crap by the curb for the trash man and I picked up two used 2.5 Gotts- I guess I'm glad I stopped!
