when setting the tps from base plate .70 beside the throddle cable lever is that where you fix the settings? with the allen wrench bolt.. after that do you go to the idle and the voltmeter is still reading .70 and do you just wait till it reaches .93-.95 on voltmeter? Try lookin for the dude that was doing the 900 throddle bodies but couldn't find it. What about the carb models read somewhere you just use the wot and thats it, Do you use the sync for that

The baseline setting is set by first making sure the throttle body butterflies are completely closed with no tension on them from the throttle cable or idle screw. ( you need to loosen both) Then you check the baseline volts. For the 6/7/8 cfi it should be .70 volts. If it is not, which more than likely it's not, then you loosen two screws on the tps and you move the sensor until it shows correct volts. Then you set the idle screw to the correct volts. Then you tighten the cable to take the slack out. There is a thread that show this and also has a video that helps.

This is the video for setting a carb version NOT A CFI but it will help you get and idea. Read the thread and get the volt baseline and idle for your sled.

Thanks dude the vid is alot more understandable gunna try out my homemade tps sensor..

What is the tps sensor volts going to be at..after setting the plates. Then the idle..at 0.930 for a 800 and a 755..I did set the plate and the idle but did not touch the tps sensor..Couldn't we set to 4.0 full plates open after setting the baseline and the idle screw..

CFI's on not set at wide open like the carbed sleds.

Set it at .70 with the throttle blades Fully slammed shut.

Open it via the idle screw until .93 volts (or whatever it is for YOUR model, info is in the owners manual)
is reached.

You're done, don't re-adjust the idle after the .93 volts (or your spec) is achieved!
