When is the M7, 8 and 1000 coming out in the REAL Sno Pro chassis.....

I agree with Darko, the only reason I have a Ski-Doo is that the M-chassis is not far enough forward for me and feels "old-school". I would trade in the Ski-Doo in an instant for a true rider forward M-Series sled.

That being said, for what its worth the AC rep at the spring show told me no new mountain chassis next year, but they are working on a new trail chassis for 2010.

That would be more believeable. They always come out with the new trail chassis before the mountain chassis. Its pretty much economics, they sell waaaay more trail sleds thats where their going to put the $$$ for new iron; at least to start with.

Darko, there was a sno pro with an 800 dropped in and a 144 under it at the Puallup show this year. Guy wanted $4800, and it looked like a sweet sled. It can be done, build it.:beer;

So how do you like it and how does it handle and perform? What engine did you put in it? Dude, you know you have to post pics now don't you?

So far pretty good, on my year of snopro "05" it has a 13.5" wide tracked so in the deep stuff it trenches a little earlier. im using the factory speedwerx 800. im making some changes right now but here is a pic of it from when i bought it.
but yeah sat on a 09 m8 yesterday it felt stupid, i love my SP chassis and hope arctic cat makes the right decision soon.

Kenny sweet ride, I have a buddy who rides one of those, just swaps out track and suspension depending on the kind of snow for the day. That things rips and is very light.

For me coming off an old school sled, when I rode the M chassis I really liked it. But then I am 2 generations behind to start with. Just can't give up the ol triple.

I can't believe some of you think the M-chassis is not ..

rider forward enough. The whole reason for rider forward is to get the rider and steering post to the center of gravity. The M has the center laid back farther than any other sled. She's right where the others are trying for. Shi* Yam should have the seat ontop the motor and the bars comming off the front bumper.
