Whats your Range!

Ive been getting about 34km (21miles) on my 9 litre (2.37 us gallon) tank on my Cr 500 setup.
With the 3.3 gallon (12L) mountain addiction can I figure I can go about 79km or 49 miles.
I suspect the 500 is a little thirsty! but its still better than my sled.

What kind of range are others getting?

I have a 4 gal desert racing tank that will fit your bike. $50 plus shipping. I'm in BC as well.

I'm able to go about 70km on my 13L big tank on my KTM500.

So that works out to 18.57L/100km or so..

Which is 12.66MPG US Gallons, or 15.21MPG Imperial

KX 450 Fi fuel milage

Deep or heavy snow, lot of throttle. 9 mpg

Normal powder boondocking. 12 mpg

Trail riding. 15 mpg

I am getting a long day ride on a 1.9 tank with my 3.3 on the tunnel. I am jetted clean and can ride all day on a KX500AF.

drz400 3 gallons stock tank 2 2gallons on back 7 gallons total did 50 miles sunday in the steep and deep hit reserve with 1 gallon left 2 miles before the truck. Hard day in the bottomless a lot of fun for 20 bucks. To be honest i thought it would be better used to be able to do 100 on sled in a day. with 12 gallons. Guess i am gonna have to tow a gas sled around.

One thing to consider is.. Going straight up pinned consumes a lot more fuel vs. side-hilling and picking different(more fun) paths to the same place.

range?...............home from the range

not much range today, funny slippery snow, no traction powder, late season little balls of chit powder, was struggling until I ran into three riders on the best polaris has to offer, they had the same to say, power sucking eventhough it wasn't that deep. Mid afternoon had to dump in my gas, and nose it around for the truck.
